OBSERVANCE OF FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY
DAY ON 16TH OCTOBER 2008 |
16th October 2008 was observed as Food
Safety and Quality Day. The entire programme was organized by Biology
Department. Asmita. Gayatri, Vandana , Vivekanad, Srinath of XI B and
Chandrakiran of XII B presented speeches on Food and Food Safety. The
progamme came to a close with a quiz on Food and Food Safety.

CELEBRATION
OF NATIONAL EDUCATION DAY ON 11th NOVEMBER 2008 |
11th November 2008, the birthday of
Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, a great freedom fighter an eminent educationist
and first Union Minister of Education, was celebrated as National
Education Day.
The celebration began with garlanding of
the portrait of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad by Vice Principal, Mr.B. R. Dhage,
followed by speeches on the life and achievements of Maulana Abul Kalam
Azad by Asmita, Deepika, Priyanka Prasad of XI B and Sreelakshmi of Class
XI A.
As part of the celebration, slogan writing
competition, essay writing competition and a debate were conducted on 10th
November 2008.A large number of students participated in the competitions.
Prizes were distributed to the winners in the competitions.

Cluster Level Cubs / Bulbul Utsav was
conducted under in Common Minimum Programme for primary classes from 14
to 16.11.2008. Following activities were conducted: |

Games and Sports Activities 16.11.2008
Under this program 400 students from 6 KVs
participated.

CELEBRATION OF CHILDREN’S DAY ON 14TH
NOVEMBER 2008 |
14TH November 2008, the birthday of Pt.
Jawaharlal Nehru was celebrated as Children’s Day. The celebration began
with the garlanding of the portrait of Pt. Jawaharlala Nehru by Principal
Mr. B. S. Tondare, Fg. Officer, D V Tiwari, Education Officer, Air Force,
9 BRD, Pune was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
A fancy dress competition was conducted
and the prizes and medals received from Smile Foundation, Panaji, Goa were
distributed to students for their contribution to Smile Foundation.
